SOME HIGHLIGHTS

Brief annual review!

PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS
A special project for us last year was Wolk, the work of art by Lucas de Man and Pascal Leboucq. The construction comprised an ingenious labyrinth of stairwells and corridors, constructed against the facade of an apartment building in Den Bosch. No expense was spared to allow visitors to experience a wondrous, poetic ramble, with a grand finale on the building’s roof.

MATTERS OF SIZE
The Flying Who?? On 4 June the three Flying Dutch stages saw the light of day in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. The very best of the Dutch dance scene went crazy in red, white and blue. Rolling out three monster productions in one day, without a single hitch… a major accomplishment!

NO GUTS NO GLORY
On King’s Day, Coresteel experienced its initiation, after which our PA towers visited pretty much all the major festivals. But with Coresteel we can do a lot more than just build PA towers! In November we flew down the A12 to Scheveningen with a trailer full of steel, to erect the finish-line, a 27-meter spanning construction for the Red Bull Knock Out, in no time at all.

IN THE SPOTLIGHTS
We love putting our construction workers and stage builders in the spotlights, and quite rightly so. But without the logistic genius, accuracy, flexibility and never-ending high spirits of our wharf workers any form of stage building, in fact the whole idea of ‘show business’, would be totally impossible. They know better than anyone: the show must go on.

For all employees, customers, co-workers and other contacts: enjoy the holidays and the brand-new year that’s ahead!
