ROOMSERVICE
Coreworks has a hotel room to stay
For more than two years our founding father Victor Kooijmans and furniture maker Maarten Kierkels have been working on a mad-cap plan for the Bossche Tramkade: building a hotel room in the old Koudijs-Wouda crane.
Last week the engine room, weighing almost 40 tons, was finally hoisted down. The heaviest crane transport company Van Riel owns (the same Van Riel crane that hoisted the crane up 42 years ago!) had to get involved to get this done. See Facebook for a Dtv DenBosch report.
The dismantled crane was subsequently transported to our wharf in its entirety, where it is to spend the next few months. In a peaceful spot behind the metal workshop Victor will singlehandedly transform it into a hotel room. It promises to be a combination of cozy and spectacular.
Coreworks wishes project Bossche Kraan a very happy stay!
