175 years of railways in the Netherlands were celebrated in Amersfoort with the mega event SpoorParade. Coreworks was called in to make the historic trains visible to the visitors, which was done simply by building temporary platforms along the railways – in total several thousand square metres. Inside the station we have covered obstacles by means of smart platforms, so that a gigantic exhibition space was created including a space for catering. On the outside area, an eye-catching entrance structure for a smooth reception of the thousands of visitors has been built, and a meeting point on the central square.
